@BrowningSCrew just put a double din in his,he can tell you what you need to trim and I think he put the details in his build thread.

I had mine done by best buy I believe at the end of June. They trimmed the upper lip behind the dash cover. It's an extremely tight fit but there is no gap. The only dash kit they had to use was the trim piece that surrounds the stereo to keep it from falling out

Thanks!

Yes the bezel was painted DSG, along with window switch bezel, interior handle cups, amp panel inside my console, Clarion TV mount and top plate on the Expo center console and inserts of my speaker box.

As for the A/C, my truck came with it. It was 03 Lariat FX4. There was a member on the Lightning forum that did the digital A/C controls conversion and it was ALOT of work and in the end said it wasn't worth all the work.

Yeah I just put a pioneer AVH-x1600DVD in mine at the beginning of summer. Had to trim some around the top, sides, and the big tapered brace behind the dash for it to slip into the hole. Then trim the scosche double din mounting kit from Walmart to fit. I kinda want to just form that into the dash bezel so it looks like a factory install.
Does anyone know if the 03 f150 has a compatible touch screen?-image-4010620317.jpg
