Lightbulb Do I need to replace some lights in the dash?

I left the country for a few years, and when I got back to my truck I noticed a few problems.
I have a 2002 F-150 Flareside 2WD 4.2L.
The lights behind my speedometer and other gauges don't light up anymore, as with the lights for my A/C and such. The digital odometer mileage light is on, however. Also the radio lights for the buttons don't light up, only the display.
On my model, there is a sort of slider control next to my headlight **** that I can use to control how bright or dim all of these failed lights are, or slide it all the way up to turn on my interior light. All of the lights that are controlled by the slider don't work.
My interior light works fine, leading me to believe the slider switch is fine. Also I tested all the fuses, including the ones under the hood, which all look fine.
Hopefully I don't need to replace any bulbs (since it seems impossible for the radio), but is there any other solution?
Thanks in advance

Hello,

Sounds to me a fuse is bad.
Is your tailight/headlights working??
turn your turn signal on both right and left is one faster then the other???

Here is a manual for your truck under roadside energenecs it show u a diagram of the fuses http://www.motorcraftservice.com/pub.../02f12og3e.pdf

I would just double check the Fuses

I checked the fuses again, and they are all fine.
My turn signals flash at the same speed, and my headlights and taillights are fine.
Any idea on how to pull that dimmer switch so I can test it?
