Hi, i am working on a 1999 5.4V8. The crankshaft is replaced. No the car is hard to start and misfires like a thunderstrom. I'm not able to connect to the ecu. The scanner keeps saying that the ignition is not switched on. Checked fuses and relais but what am i missing. The car starts will not idle but if i rev it it will run good. Before the crankshaft change the car was running good accept for the knock in the engine. Hope you guys can help me figure this out

Anybody, i'm stuck. Again changed all the fuses checked the wiring and connectors but found nothing. I noticed that when i turn the ignition to on that the milage and check engine light does not light up

Problem solved. I still can't read the ECU with my launch X431 but the car starts en runs fine now. I forgot a tube at the rear of the intake manifold
