So I have an '02 F150 with the 5.4 and I continue to have my CEL come on. I have changed my ignition coil and plug already at least 6 times but no matter what it comes back on. My friend owns a shop and is at a lose for ideas because he has changed or checked almost everything that could possibly make this code come on. It always comes up as cylinder 1 missfire. Please help me out

after you check your injector .. check compression on that cyclinder

Ok. Will try checking the compression. It's going to take a while to get to it. But I'll report back

An easy check for the injector would be to just swap injectors with #2 cylinder and see if it follows.
