Default Custom fitted snorkel

I had a buddy who has a 2001 jeep cherokee sell me his snorkel that did not fit his jeep. i spent the weekend getting it in a good position to fit and work well. i really like how it turned out, and the noise it makes when i get on it is amazing!

Any idea what it was originally for? Looks good. Things are great for fording high water.

It was made for a jeep cherokee but he cut his fenders up really high and it didn't fit on the fenders.

You leave that on for daily driving? Looks like a decent sized blind spot with it sticking out so far.

Um, no. It doesn't fit like it should, it sticks out to far. Looks like it was made for a jeep. Probably because it was.

I didn't want to be the one to tell him. Thanks for biting the bullet!

Yes, it looks retarded and out of place. Buy a boat if you want to go over your fenders in water.

Snorkels never quite look right. Even on Jeeps, landrovers, and old FJ40s. Its a function over form type of thing. As silly as it may look, if he does any serious trail riding, it could save his ****.

lmao i never said it fit like it should... if i wanted it to look like it should i would have bought one for our gen. oh wait they didnt make one... i didnt want to have PVC pipping chilling up the a piller with a stupid filter on top. if i wanted it to be a street queen i woulda left if without it. id rather not pay for a new block if i hydrolock. so it works and looks just fine for me lol. you guys have stuff on your trucks i think is stupid and out of place but considering im the one who drives it and pays for everything ill build it how i want. but thank you for looking at it. i just thought some people would think its cool...

Can you turn the upper intake around? Looks like it might and would help the look a little.
