Question Was this an option or aftermarket?

i have been searching for information if Ford or an aftermarket company ever made an electric windows for the side windows on 2003 F-150 extended cab.


Anybody ever seen or heard of these?

My SuperCab/Extended cab F150 has Electric side windows from the factory. I didn't even realize hand cranks were an option.

these are not the crank style.. im talking about the ones that open from the back side of the windows and only swing out about 4" or so.

It's possible. Expys had electronic back windows. Well atleast the 03's did, but thats that 04 f150 body style. so I don't know. Just saying its possible.

Ohhh the rear ones. Lol.

I doubt it. If they did I'm sure it would require new doors.

They'd be way to expensive to justify.

The '97 up expeditions had power rear windows. The motors mount the same to the windows. I don't know if it's the same to the body. I'd say it would be doable if they mount to the body the same. Wire in the motors and switches. You'd be the first to have power out rear windows. I've never seen this tried in the aftermarket world. Go for it!

We are talking about extended cab windows right? The ones that are fixed in the half door?

I think he is talking about the rear windows on the scabs rolling down. I don't believe they did on these trucks. I'm pretty sure they started that in '04.

I replied to supercab windows powering outward. The rear quarter windows power outward like our trucks do. OP wants his truck to be power. No longer popping the window out manually.
