Default Sideview Mirror Install

I need to replace my sideview mirror on my '03 F150 Supercrew. I want to upgrade it with the turn signal feature. Do I need to run a new power cable or is the existing one already configured with the turn signal wiring feature? Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.

I just replaced all the side mirrors on my truck. It's no big deal. The mirrors that I bought came with the cords running out of the mirrors, and then adapters for earlier and later model pickups. The mirrors should come with them so you can plug and play. Contact the seller and insure they come with them. If so it is no issue. Also, in case you need it....

Tells you how to take off the door panels.

Default Thanks Bruce

Your website will help come time to take the panel off. I do realize the connector on the cable will most likely fit. Currently I have power mirrors and no additional features. I want to replace the mirrors with ones that have the turn signal in them. Can I just plug these in or will I need to run a new cable from the door back to the engine compartment to tap in to the turn signals? I'm hoping that the connector is already pre-wired with the turn signal feature.

A guy I work with mentioned that I can take measure the voltages in the connector when the turn signal is on and should see 12V go on and off. If not, I'll need to run the turn signal wire. Did I confuse you yet? Hope not. Thanks again for your information. Chat with you later. Nice name!

I couldn't tell you, sir. The most I could recommend is asking the manufacturer of the mirrors is if the mirrors are direct "plug 'n' play" if they did not come stock on your truck. If so, then you will not need to run anything. That's the most I can give you. Sorry.
