Default Cigarette Lighter Fuse

i went to figure out why my check engine light was on the other day at advanced. It wouldn't read because the plug for the reader wasn't getting any power. they guy said that it is on the cigarette lighter fuse, and it was probably blown (the lighter doesn't work either). I got up this morning and decided to replace my fuse. i got out my manual and looked at the fuses and couldn't find witch one the lighter was on. Do you all have any ideas on which fuse it is?

They are on different fuses. My lighter wouldn't work, but my phone charger always did.

Cigerette lighter fuse is in the panel by the P-brake. It's #3, third one down on the left. 20 amp.

Power point fuse is in the box under the hood. #1 In the rear right corner. 20 amp.

On page 190-192 in my manual. 2001 if it's the same.

woot woot, thanks for the info fellas! This fixed mine lighter and power port. But I wish I had read this post before I took my dash half way apart...doh!

Lighter fuse was completely burnt out and the power port fuse was almost gone.

Default Both fuses replaced, cig lighter doesnt give power but obd works

Hey so like the title reads, ive gor a new 20a fuse in both spots you nice gents highlighted, im still not getting power from the hole on the right.. i have a bluetooth adapter and a phone charger and they both only work on the left and the right doesnt work. If both outlets internally look okay, what else could be wrong? Can i replace the one not working outlet and that fix it? Or is it not even worth the hassle...

It helps if you tell us what you're working on as well as give the fuse identification of what you checked so we don't waste time playing 20 questions.
