Check all the pulleys. The bearings inside them may be worn out. If the pulleys don't spin freely or you hear a grinding, replace them. It also could be your water pump , or alternator going out. Or it could be as simple as the belt itself is slipping. Start with the belt first. It's the cheapest thing to start with. Good luck

ok i changed the belt and the alternator a couple of years ago, either they are worn out already or its my pulleys. so I'll check the pulleys and buy a new belt and go from there thanks for help, very much appreciated.
