Bought 8 cans of Plasti dip to black out all the chrome including the 4 vent rings. Doing rims today and I'm done, unless I can find more things to PD. It is pretty addicting stuff - here is a look at my rear emblem before and after

It was actually very easy. I PD'd the entire emblem with 4 coats then used a toothpick to work the PD off the lettering and chrome ring. Once I got enough up to grab I just slowly peeled it off. I would recommend running a razor blade around the groove of the outer ring to avoid peeling too much.

This will only work if you have the emblem the as the groove around the word Ford.

For about $4 you can get a can of Rustoleum High Heat paint and get yourself a nice blacked out exhaust system!
