Default Changing spark plug boots on a 5.4

I recently had a spark plug coil replaced and the dealer said I need new plugs and boots since they seem to be the original on the truck. They wanted $800+ to do the job which makes me wonder what is involved. The truck is a 97 F150 4x4 with the 5.4 V8. It has 101,000 miles on it. How difficult of a job is it to replace the boots? My worry is breaking the coils.

I would like an answer to this as well. I just bought an 2000 4x4 f150 fairly cheap and I just replaced one coil pack on #1 and bought all new plugs and boots

It's not that hard there is a little bolt on each coil that takes the coil off... then you just pull it up and it pops off with the boot attached to the coil pack then there are the spark plugs... you'll some extensions and swivels because some of the plugs are hard to get to.
