Default tires

I had KM2's on my Jeep and loved them. They have an aggressive thread, drove well on the road, in the rain, and even good in the snow. I was told they would last around 30k+ miles. They ride very smooth and quiet for a M/T tire on the pavement. I did not do very much offroad use with them, but I am sure they would perform like a champ...here is a pic of them on my Jeep.

I have 35 12.50's on a 99 f150. For overall performance best mud tire I've had. They are quite on road ride smoother than most good tread wear and clean out well in the mud.

yea I love mine. got about 20 to 30k out of em. good in mud and snow. i have no worries goin into snow deeper than my doors and parking my truck cuz i know ill get right out. only time i was stuck in the mud was when i ran over a tree and my tires had about 5/32nds on em then. other than that i was drivin through mud to the bottom of my doors

Just adding in my 2 cents here...I did a ton of research on mud tires when I had my FJ and it totally depends on what type of environment you plan on driving. I was some wheeling in rocky/dirt terrain and highway driving.

What I can tell you is that Hankook Dynapro MTs are cheaper, and tend to last longer than any MT tire out there with proper rotation (religiously every 2500-3000 miles). It was very common to get 70K on a 5 tire rotation....I know most of us only do a 4 tire rotation here, but from what I have seen and experienced they are the best with wear. They are quiet on the highway and I loved the look I had with them.

I just wanted to post up a different opinion....I don't have any personal opinion on KM2s but I have a few friends and people I talked with online that said they had problems with the KM2 chunking as well as the Firestone MTs chunking as well.

You might also consider Cooper SST tires as well and Kumho tires.

Just my 2 cents.
