Default Cd Player

Hello: My CD player is not working...it won't eject the CD currently in it. When I press the eject button, it makes a series of clicks, and then plays the song.

Is there a way I can get this CD out? Thank-you.

My truck is a 2000 F150.

Do you have the factory cd player?????? You can try and use a small flat headed screwdriver and lift the cd while hitting the eject button. Sometimes they get something stuck in them and they don't like to eject. Try that first.

Thank-you. Yes, it is a factory player. I have tried the screwdriver, but it just won't come out. I tried some tweezers, but the CD is far back just enough to render the tweezers unusable. Is there anything else I can do? Please help.

Thank-you and have a great new years!

I've had the same problem in the past on 2 other vehicles. I disconnected the positive battery cable and this fixed the problem like magic. Not sure if it applies to your vehicle, but you may have to unlock the radio with a code supplied with the owner's manual after interrupting the power supply.
