Default Cats out

One question. I have noticed that people complain aboutt there service engine light coming on when they take their cats out. What should I tell the service guy to do for the light not to come on

i havent seen any body that took there cats out and said the check eng. light came on! mine didnt and nobody i have talked to did!

You should be fine without the back two cats. The front ones taken out will cause a cel.

Ive heard it both ways. like Iowa^ here. and then if you take all 4 out, as long as you put 2 highs in your good. the place where im gettin mine done, the guy is a certified maggy installer, and said i wouldnt throw codes with just 2 highs.

ya take them out your truck will sound so much better. mine did! also gained M.P.G & THROTTLE RES.

well i meant they dont really serve any purpose but slow it down/ make your life harder lol.

I have not done any exhaust mods, but I plan to rip out all 4 and replace with 2 high flows.
