Default Caster / cambler alignment questions

I just want to check and get your thoughts on this, I took my truck in for an allignment after the ball joint, and here is the sheet they gave me. They say that the caster is maxed out right now without hurting the camber. What are your thoughts? Is this normal?

The picture isn't downloading on my computer, so I will just write it out.

Whenever I hear the phrase "this is maxed out" when it comes to alignment, I know they are probably too lazy to do it right.

Nope. Thats the maximum you cana get out of the RCX. I've installed many of them. 3.0 degrees is the maximum caster angle.

Nope...Caster specs for this gen truck is...

F-150, 4x4 ONLY!!!

Caster Left 4.6° ± 1.0° Right 5.3° ± 1.0° -0.7° ± 0.7°
Camber Left-0.1° ± 0.7° Right -0.1° ± 0.7° 0° ± Toe Left 0.10° ± 0.15° Right 0.10° ± 0.15° 0.20° ± 0.25°

All degrees...right from dealer.

I brought mine to a 3rd party shop 2 weeks ago and they messed it up so I brought it to Ford and they got it right and the guy wrote these down on a piece of paper for me...specs came from his PC in front of them.

I first attempted to align it myself but that wasnt a great idea hence why I coughed up tbe cash and brought it to Ford.

Factory settings are useless. Red-Ford has a RCX 5" lift kit that doesnt not maintain factory steering geometry. I know what the maximum's are from the factory and what most trucks of this generation with lift kits will achieve. Have all the facts before you try to tell someone they are wrong.

That makes sense that the lift kit would throw things off. I looked at my old alignment records, all of them have the caster in red. This would be before the lift, but the people at the shop I took it to for those alignment are just plain idiots so I don't know if that factors in. The only thing I could think is my truck was totaled at one time so maybe that threw something off beyond "repair"?

No its completely due to the lift. The first alignments are that way because the people doing the alignments are retarded.
