Bts and suncoast get their billet shafts and drums from the same vendor. The problem with 4r is that only has 4 planetary gears. The 5r110 has 5 that are quite a bit larger.

So since changing directions with the np205 with 1410's I thought about going 1480 (have an axle flange heading this was) but since purchasing the 1480, I've thought more on it. And I've come up with the idea of running 1550 series joints and driveshafts.

Little picture of the different size joints.

The far right 2 are what I was planning on running (1410-1480) but have since change my mind once again. But I don't feel like I'll ever have problems with a 1550 series u-joint (I better watch what I say lol)

Just figured I'd give you an idea of the size of a 1550

Well the plans, not to break... I've had my fair share of driveline failures...

Also had the last rotor show its face earlier. Big brake kit ish for 2.5tons

I wouldnt waste the time with a 1550. Either stock 2.5 tons or the Gearharts. I have a friend with a 2.5 truck that is 4200lbs with 14.9's and around 500hp and was constantly shattering 1550's.

Few misc parts showed up.

Got an '02 Lightning PCM and some Metco idlers.

Unsure which route I'm going on the PCM, but I like haveing spare options for when my plans change.

Plus, I swapped a water pump pulley for it. Figured why not, it was the one off the Harley. I have an M.A.D. under drive water pump pulley on there now so I didn't need it. (Also have cant quits, but it wasn't as new looking)

I upgraded the interior a little bit. I was missing the end donut that is around the over drive button so I snached these up. (In turn, I'll need an interior wiring harness but I figured going that route anyway.

Picked these HD chrome levers to make it have more of that HD look when it goes back together.

Happy 4th to you too. The little touches like that and the body lift are pretty cool.
