Default Can't find Pitman arm for 6 inch lift on 97 F150

I have a 97 F150 that appears to have a rear axle of the F250. I need a new Pitman arm - the current one has no drop at all - seems to be from a non-lifted F150. Wondering if that's why my turning radius seems particularly poor, even for such a long vehicle - long bed, extended cab.

The vehicle lives in Baja so I have to bring parts down. 4WheelParts sold me an FD400 which has a 4 inch drop but has bolt holes on both sides. The guy working on my car thinks I need a part with a bolt already on one end - like this (not this one which isn't for an F150).

Any help appreciated!

If you F150 is IFS 97+ you need a stand pitman arm. These truck have horrible turning radius's. It just make sit worse lifting it.

I thought driving the truck into 4WheelParts would guarantee me they'd give me the right one!

Can you point me to the standard arm? I am finding a bunch of different options and need to make sure I have the right one sent down. Thanks....

I wish it worked that way lol, they tried to put a couple of the wheels I ordered on, but they had the wrong lug pattern. In their defense, the 3 trucks that where there where getting the exact same wheels..... I can't expect them to know what lug pattern goes where lol.

EDIT: I found a couple, IDK if you like to in store purchase, but summit racing has a couple.

The 6" to 10" inch lift one looks the same as the 4WheelParts supplied part. My local Baja mechanic said I needed one that has a bolt integrated into the smaller end of it - something like this: http://www.jcwhitney.com/proforged-c...=d18911y1997j1

You do not need a different pitman arm. Even tho you truck has a lift kit on. Go to Napa or order from any online retailer. You just need a stock OE replacement pitman arm.
Redford Great find parts that wont work on these trucks.
