I haven't had much time to mess with my 03 f150 since my last post. However today it reared its ugly head again. After picking my kids up at school the engine shut down. Pulled over to side of road and it restarted in about 5 min. Went about 200 ft and shut down again. It is still sitting there at 11 pm tonight. The anti theft system kicked in and it will not let me start the truck. Called 3 ford dealerships and they all told me to have it towed in. How convenient. One did tell me it is not the anti theft system that is at fault because it will not shut the engine down once it is running. He felt it was the ecu so i will try that tomorrow and report back.

I put a DiabloSport tuner in my 2005 F-150 and as soon as I installed it my truck had all the same symptoms as yours. In the end I found out that it wrecked my transmission causing it to stall all the time. $3000 and a rebuilt transmission later problem solved
