Camshaft Sensor Code
I have a 1998 Ford F-150 5.4L and have been getting CE code P0340 for a Camshaft Sensor problem. I had the sensor pulled and replaced but no luck. The vehicle is 2000 miles away from me so I can't work on it myself but I am planning to drive the truck to my home. I had a mechanic take a look at it and he couldn't figure out why the code kept coming up and said the engine seems to be running just fine. Any ideas on what it could be?

only thing I can think of is wether the computor was reset after the sensor installation, don't know if disconnecting the battery will reset it or not, worth a try though
