Default Bumper out of alignment

My truck was hit/brushed (i don't believe very hard) in the front when the previous owner had it. The chrome part of the bumper is dented and it appears the passenger side of the bumper is out of alignment.

I replaced the fog light that was rusted out, but there's still a noticeable gap between the fog light and the valence, even with the fog light fully adjusted forward. Any ideas what needs to be done or replaced to fix this?

I plan to replace the chrome part, but I am wondering if anything else appears like it needs to be replaced.

Probably the mount that goes between the bumper and the frame is messed up.

I had the same issue with mine (but on drivers side). Yours looks really similar to mine (mine is a little worse I think).

I got lucky and found a complete bumper with mounts on craigslist.

If you were near me I would let you have my pass side mount (my drivers was messed up, but the pass side is fine).

I was actually able to bang most of the dent out but could not bend the fender back to the right position to line up with the mount (which you can take off and try to bend back into shape).

Thank you blupupher. It just seems weird to me that a hit on the bumper would make it appear further forward as opposed to backward.

I know, I think it was a sideways hit (maybe backing up and turning and hit something??)

My drivers side was further forward that the pass side, so like yours opposite of what you would think.
