Bumper Guard for 2001 F150
So last September my sister was driving on the interstate and crashed and caved in a CR-V lift gate and it didn't do much damage to my truck except the black guard on my bumper has a big square taken out of it and I don't know how to replace and what parts and tools I need. And Im not taking it to a shop. Help?

Pics of said "guard"? Sounds like you're talking about the lower valence. They can be had off eBay for around $100 and it's all bolted on with 8 or 10mm bolts along the top. I can't remember the exact size.

It is the lower valance. Thanks! I hope I can get it fixed soon. The only thing im worried about is that there is a metal bar that made the hole in the plastic.

If you have a salvage yard near you, you may be able to pull a full bumper. It should have the bumper pad on top, chrome bumper, and black valance on the bottom. I know my salvage yard won't sell just one part of it so you should be able to get it all for a decent price. Then it would just bolt right on
