Same issue
I own a 2003 ford f150 supercrew, and have learned that the wiring in some models are too short, and if you have the steering wheel tilted to low the wires trip and the signals dont work. try to tilt the wheel all the way up and see if the signals work, unfortunately i have the same issue, and that is all it is, i have not taken the time to extend the wiring, let alone get under the cover, but after extensive online research i learned this is the issue.
Thankyou so much!!! We have had several issues with the fuel system and then just after getting that fixed, I lost all the lights, turn signals, and hazards as we were driving home yesterday. All fuses and relays were good, so next stop was here. And, yep, my husband also likes to drive with the steering wheel down so when I returned it to the regular position, Voila!!! Everything is back on. How hard is it to rewire so that this won't cause a more serious problem?

The harnesses are repairable if it's just a wire coming out. Just pull that wire out, and bend the "lock" out a little bit, then re-insert it. They will usually quit hassling you after that... Usually when tilting the steering wheel makes a short happen, this is the cause.
FYI - Rock Auto does carry replacement harnesses for the Multi-Function switch... if it proves to be unfixable.

I am currently borrowing my brother in law's 2001 F150 Lariat. The driver's side brake light / turn signal is not working. The running light and reverse light work, but not the brake light. The passenger side's lights all work. I'm not sure what the issue could be. I've tried replacing bulbs, checking the connector at the steering column, and looking for any disconnects. I still haven't figured out the issue and I'm completely stumped on the situation.
