Brakelights, Hazards, and Turn Signals Not Working???
2001 Ford F150, i just noticed that my hazards, brakelights, and turn signals dont work. The parking lights work fine front and back, as do the headlights, but thats it. The bulbs checked out fine.
I read somewhere to try spraying wd-40 on the hazzard switch and move it up and down, but it didnt change anything. Any ideas on what could be going on? Or what to try, or look for?

Not familiar with that part of the wiring, but like that's going to keep me from tossing in an observation :-)~
It seems like the all the lights mentioned are interconnected in operation. That is, the brake lights are also the turn signal and hazard lights for the rear, where faulty operation in the back could also affect the front portion of the turn and hazard. If there were a dead short, that would be expected to pop the fuse, but wondering if some other fault is happening?
Kind of shooting in the dark (pun intended, of course!), but suggest to inspect the brake lamps. Maybe try to remove one or both to see if at least the front hazards/turns work.
There's a diode in there someone (at least on older vehicles), but this could be getting to the point of a voltmeter and a wiring diagram fishing expedition???
Be sure to keep us updated on your findings. It's stuff like this which is always good to file for future reference.

I own a 2003 ford f150 supercrew, and have learned that the wiring in some models are too short, and if you have the steering wheel tilted to low the wires trip and the signals dont work. try to tilt the wheel all the way up and see if the signals work, unfortunately i have the same issue, and that is all it is, i have not taken the time to extend the wiring, let alone get under the cover, but after extensive online research i learned this is the issue.

2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trak brake lights
Amazing to find that this issue is spread across many FORD vehicles from 2001 forward and FORD has not issued a recall! I had been informed my brake lights were not working...and then witnessed they were. After searching the issue on the internet I found this site, saw the solution of trying to tilt your steering all the way up in the highest position..and what do you know?! They suddenly work! Crazy, now I have to drive around as if I'm in a Model-T just to be sure mah brake lights is a-workin'!

Awesome advice. My husband just purchased a 2001 f150 today and on the way home I noticed that the turn signals and brake lights were not working. After my husband and friend checked and rechecked all the fuses, they decided to go get a book from the local auto shop for more wiring info. While they were gone I looked on the forum for some info and found the post. I was so excited to tell them I found the answer to their problem online. This is the third time I have used a ford forum to diagnos a problem with our cars. Thank you so much for the good advice.

before this we would just slip the pin back in and they would work again. but now it wont work.
ours is an 02 crew cab and even with the steering column up it wont work. besides the connectors that go to the turn signal handle/hazard button, what other connector might be lose? like behind the dash like above the pedals?
