Do a read out test all the abs sensors read the same mph while driving. No idea why the light comes on. Did a gem module test and everything seems fine

Had an ABS code a while back, was the rear speed sensor, really easy to replace, just unclip the connector, take the bolt out, bolt the new one in, reconnect the sensor. The sensor was like $7 too

I have an 01 F150 HD that the abs light has been on for a while. Now the brake light is on,too. Recently replaced the rear sensor and that didn't fix it. So, now I am shopping ebay for front sensors. Watching this thread to see if someone comes up with a repair......

Well, I replaced rear sensor and warning lights went away. I only have sensors in rear not in the front.

I have the same issue both brake and abs light are on in my 98 4.6 xlt lariat. Haven't found out what it is. Im waiting on a new cruise control fuse/harness to see if that will fix it because it was leaking brake fluid from the fuse and had the lights come on. I've disconnected it since to be safe. No codes are being thrown out either ?de15

Update: replaced the rear abs sensor and cruise control fuse on the master brake cylinder, both lights are gone now. Thank you to everyone for the great info!
