Default Body lift or suspension lift?

New to the whole truck modification scene so which would be better? My truck is an 02 Supercrew 2WD. Currently have front end leveled and wanting to go higher. I won't be doing any offroading just want to throw on some big ol tires. Whats the pros and cons of both types?

I've never had a truck with a suspension lift but when I bought my truck in january it turned out to have a 3 inch body lift. My only truck before this was stock so I didn't really know what to expect. Turns out it's quite a bit easier to do motor work and motor swaps with a body lift. I have a big ugly gap below my tailgate and above the rear bumper but I'm working on making a cover panel for that. Also you can see the exhaust manifolds through the wheel wells but I might make something to cover that up too. So I don't really have much experience but I do like the body lift on my truck. And they're a lot cheaper than suspension lifts.
