They're fine! Are you gonna pay $280.00-$2k a piece for good shocks?
You're lifting your 2wd truck 3.5" and worried mostly about cost and are doing it for looks... You don't need king shocks... You are worried about the rough country shocks being good? But you want to use crappy stock shocks that are obviously too short??

body lift cheaper to buy! more money to have installed!
coil/shock more to buy! cheaper to have installed!
like A7X is saying your 2wd your not going to hurt the truck!
I say 2wd go coil/shock if 4wd (your not) go body lift!

You don't see McDonalds including gym memberships. Or Taco Bell including toilet paper with each meal... Do you need these things after? Yes... But you don't see those places offering them...

Hmmm this thread is interesting, I want a lift on my truck its a 2000 ford f-150 4.6 2wd, I am fixing to change my lower ball joints and control arms, So which site is a good place to order a spindle lift? I want my truck to stand out, I am willing to pay a round 500 or below, looking for a good height.
Any suggestions?

So i was i went into 4 Wheel Parts today in town and talked to the guy. He pretty much told me Rough country and anyone but fabtech make ****ty parts and they will break... he said you get what you pay for. He was kinda a dick... what are your honest thoughts on Rough Country /Canuck motorsports AX7?

I found a link for the install of a basic leveling kit. It looks easy but you would have to pay attention and know you could break parts putting it back together because of the current miage and wear and tear on your old parts. Another thing to think about is you do have to have it aligned afterward too as you are changing some of the trucks geometry.
