I would go the vinyl way, i dont like plasti dip, and vinyl isnt real hard. i had a little jetta, and the PO had replaced the dented trunk lid with one from another color, i didnt like it so i vinyl wrapped the trunk lid, roof, and hood in carbon fiber wrap, took me and a friend a while to do it good but it turned out nice

I'm aware of that. I'm saying in the even that he does want it on here for good to do vinyl instead of paint so its removable in the event he later changed his mind. Sure he can dip it but that nasty flat look wouldn't do it any justice.

I agree. No offense to anyone on here that has plastic dip on their truck, but I think it looks tacky and cheap.

Black Plasti dip with enough gloss will get rid of that flat look if done right

My roof is bed-lined. I did it myself with the rustoleum spray liner. It was so rusty and gross it needed it bad. Will get more pictures in a bit

Just to the top of the edge of the outside channel. The one that runs the length of the cab. I will get more pictures soon
