Default Black Painted Roof?

Whats up guys, just wondering if anyone has painted their roof black? I just saw a mustang with a black painted roof and I wondered what my 03 SCrew would look like if I painted my roof. Thanks guys!

No one would notice. It works on cars because the roofs are visible. Not so much on trucks.

This. Unless your eyes are at least 6'5" above the ground, you won't see it. Sure you could do the pillars too, but for what?
I don't think it would look bad on a red truck with a red/black theme, but again, the cost of doing it properly is pointless.

There have been a couple guys that have painted or bed lined their roof black. It looks fine.

The roof is a common spot to have paint fade/peeling and rust. The channels are prone to paint cracking.

If I have my truck in a year from now, I'll be sanding and painting it.

Paint it just for looks or for the heck of? Nah. Waste of time/money.

You could always get it vinyl wrapped so it isn't permanent if you end up not liking it later. There's a 2014 Sierra here with his roof wrapped or painted and it looks awesome, it's definitely more noticeable than you'd think

Plasti dip would be cheaper.

Yeah but he can still do vinyl if he really likes it because it's cheaper and not 100% permanent. I've been through phases with my truck where I decided I didn't like my mods anymore and took them off, you can't quite do that with paint lol.
