I just put on a set of Goodyear TripleTreds on my 20 inch wheels. 285 R50 20.
They are 31.20 " D, 11.2 " tread width, 5.6" sidewall height.

Use this site provided by member Bosalinee for calculating tire height
http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

Figures in things like wheel diameter and tire aspect ratio.

what's a good size tire ,example my currently not good tires are 245/70/17. Not currently changing rim size and good brand of snow tires would be very helpful thanks. Finally would 275/70/17 fit.
