Default Battery isn't holding charge

It'll charge up while my engine's running but if my truck's off for too long the battery dies and I need a jump. Everything else seems to be working fine, if I try starting it right after I shut it off, it starts right up no problem, so I think the alternators fine.
Any other suggestions I should try before going and buying a new battery?

Sounds to me like your battery is just spent...how old is it? Have someone test it to see if it's worn out.

Would I just take it to any auto repair place to have them test? And how much would they charge

Take it to auto zone and they will test it for free. Sounds like a bad battery to me, just get it tested to make sure.

Sounds like that battery is headed for the last round-up.

Most Kragen/Checker or Autozone stores will check it FREE.
