Question Battery good but no response from ignition?

I have had the battery checked and it is strong. When I turn the key there is nothing. I don't think it is the starter. Has anyone experienced this and if so what am I looking at for repair? I really don't have the money to have it towed anywhere at this time. Please help.

Are your batert terminals clean? Check all the fuses and try to jump the solenoid like westtn said.
