Default Bad month for my Truck

Had a caliper bracket bolt break, caliper ruined wheel.
Transmission went out. $1900 rebuild, complete rebuild. Very Happy

On the up side. I cleaned my MAF, and changed my fuel filter. Wow. My filter was trashed. After cleaning my MAF I gained 2 mpg, and some horsepower.

Tommorow at school I am doing a real injector cleaner. Cant wait to see what that does.

Everything is great now, but when it pours, it pours

It can, and I noticed a huge difference from that as well.

Well that sucks, hope the month ends better now....so when you say a real injector clean, do you mean pulling them off? And doing what to them??

No. I pull the inertia switch so the fuel pump shuts off, Relieve all the fuel pressure by running it till it dies, then go through the schrader valve on the fuel rail with a OTC injector cleaning tool, and run Seafoam or B10 through the injectors by letting the truck run off the cleaner as fuel.

Downside. The tool is like $200 bucks, but worth it.
