I get so irritated trying to solder stuff that I only do it when absolutely necessary.

A good soldering gun could do it in 5 min or less.

It only took me 5 minutes to solder positive and negatives for each of my 4 speakers when I replaced them

I'm in the process of installing Alpine IVA-W205 double din. This forum has given me fantastic information to attempt this myself. Thinking about keeping my OEM 6 disc changer. Can it be connected to the new head unit?
Thank You

Glad the forum has helped you with installing your radio. I do not believe you can use the factory 6 disc changer when you upgrade to an aftermarket radio, but I've been wrong before. I don't think they can work together though. Post some pics of your installation after you're done.
