That's what mine weighs, just about. Shipping weight was 4600 lbs

That's what it said on the ticket.

Gross was 3660+ 3320 or something like that. Heavy, had all the bells and whistles except being a 7700. The dealer lied to me back then and said that was the heaviest I could get in a half ton/150 (or just didn't know different). Wizzed me off. So, in 99, I financed a F350 w/7.3L. Favorite truck until I totaled it on the turnpike. Luckily, I still had the 98...it loved hard work anyway, - so just used that.

But great brakes were a must...gutted everything in 08 and since, I haven't even so much as needed new pads. BTW, - NEVER had to pay for pads on this truck. Way back when, I purchased Carquest Blues Ceramic Coppers....Lifetime warranty, never dusted but I would swap them out once I could see a little wear. Great Pads!

What I'm getting at, - do it right just one time and you'll hardly have to screw them ever again. Once in awhile I'll take a palm sander and clean up the pads, Brembos when I feel like it. That's about it.

Like I said , something like that. I bet it's not to far off. Probably 6600 lbs. I know the front axle carries quit a bit more weight. The motor alone is 500 lbs.

Hang on, I'll see what it says exactly lol.

Guess I was confused.. Only 6250.

The Front and Rear numbers from recollection through me off a bit.... Yea okay, -so did my memory.

The gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR), or gross vehicle mass (GVM) is the maximum operating weight/mass of a vehicle as specified by the manufacturer including the vehicle's chassis, body, engine, engine fluids, fuel, accessories, driver, passengers and cargo but excluding that of any trailers.

Our trucks are no where near that number. Curb weight on the heaviest truck available was less than 5200 lbs.

So that's why the shipping invoice was around was in the 4000's (can't recall exactly but it was four thousand something, - that I'm sure of).

Thanks for the info, that made it easy to understand.

No problem brew. They do seem a bit heavier, I would assume yours is close to the 5k or over due to the tyranny and coolant.
