Just wondering for a 01 f150, would I have to get a converter or could I just change the bulbs?

you could do it yourself, Im giong to try to. but if you dont know anything about wires or any of that sort, you might wanna leave it to the professionals

most kits are just plug & play. if you can change a headlight bulb, you should be able to do this.

I bought a kit off of ebay and it was absolutely plug and play. Take the headlight out, remove the stock bulb. plug the new unit in. Mount the discharge boxes. Install ballasts into the stock headlight housing......they are pure amazing.....
