Default Well found my oil leak... now what?

So I have been under the impression that my truck has been burning oil but I was changing my idler arm today and I found this.

The line is loose enough to wiggle and does not feel tight at all. What is this fitting and how do I fix it?

Its an oil cooler line. Get a wrench on there and tighten it...

Nevermind, that is your power steering pump.... Still, get a wrench on there and tighten it. It's not motor oil though.

Depending on the miles, you're probably just leaking oil... Do you ever see spots and what not on the ground?

Haha that is the pump for your steering gear box. Under extremely high pressure and runs off of transmission or power steering fluid. Both are hydraulic and work.

Won't have any effect on oil leaks or burning oil. You might smell the fluid or see it coming out of the pump.

About a quart between changes. Sometimes more if I really work the engine.
