Default Antenna swap

How would I run my existing antenna wire to a larger one on my truck? I have a CB antenna that I have mounted on my backrack and want to use it as my primary antenna for my radio. What kind of parts would I need??

CB radio's use a AM Radio frequency of around 27mhz.. Compared to 88-108Mhz on your FM radio. The impediance the antenna's require is also different. So, in order for it to work anywhere near right, you will need an antenna matching unit. They make ones to use your AM/FM antenna with your CB, but I have never seen one that allows you to use your CB antenna on your AM/FM. If you REALLY want to increase your FM reception, I would pick up a wideband type two way radio antenna for like a ham radio setup. I would look for something that is at least 3db gain. Then keep your coax as short as possible.
