I have the 3.73 with LS. But I have the 10.25 rear end of the 7700.

Engine is the 5.4

Tires are 265/75/16 BFG KOs and get 17 MPG (all highway).

Just found out the don't make the 3.73ls in an 8.8 rear end, FML. So looks like I have to buy a 9.25 and a drive shaft.

They do make them. I have one in my truck. It's a 97 4x4 with the off road package, 4.6, standard transmission. All the codes say that's what mine is.

Yeah and if you have drum rear brakes, i think the 9.25s had discs, so youll have to do a little swapping

The only difference in the the drum setup and disc brake setup are the emergency brake cables. Also the master cylinder has a proportioning valve mount on the rear cylinder to keep slight pressure on the rear drums to keep them adjusted correctly.

Not really. Haha. They must have changed something up. Mine has drum brakes in the rear, 3.73LS and is the 8.8. Came from the factory like that.
