How did you quantitatively measure work load on your engine? the ads dont say that they are dyno proven to increase hp, it just says they are dyno proven, they could be dyno proven to be completly useless. and there are plenty of bolt on parts that give you a lot more bang for your buck

Broke *** people, are you kidding me? Search for people with them and you'll find that most TBS owners have no idea how an engine works or could even read a dyno sheet, the reason they buy them is they see this cheap $100 mod that makes great claims of gaining power and MPG. Normally the same people who have to think twice if the ebay 50 HP "chips" really work.

How does "creating a vortex" at the center intake of the intake manifold change a damn thing if the air has to go separate passages to get all the way to the intake valves and fuel injectors all the way at the edge of the manifold?


I agree with Harley, there is one reason for a TBS, and it's not to create a vortex:

By the way, I have installed and dyno ran one of those (LS2 GTO), and it does make power.
