has anyone else done the airsilencer removal? i just did it cause i read about it and was bored. haha but i took it out and wow it really does restrict the flow!. i couldnt believe it. and it does seem to be a little bit snappier throttle wise.

 

ya I did this to cause I was bored out of my mind on a saturday evening. I didnt notice anything different except it was louder

Basically you are cutting out the inner tubing in you air intake system. Kinda hard to explain.

btw if any one is wondering there isnt one in a 05 model 4.6 stx, and i did this on the silverado my roomate owns and it was louder....and he thinks its faster, i think its just a mental thing
