Air Intake Silencer Mod??

I did the Gotts mod where i replaced the end of the intake with a 3" piece of PVC pipe.. It made my exhaust deeper soundin .. and was wonder if its a waste of my time to do that silencer mod? Thanks Yall

you wont notice any gains. It will just give you a meaner engine noise from the intake.

What Do You mean by meaner engine noise ?? like a TBS Sound?? i still dont fully understand what all im suppose to do for this Mod

im not going to argue with anyone whether or not it helps but i noticed throttle response and deeper noise coming from my engine

it may just be in your head...i thought the same thing when i cut my intake housing up....now i doubt it did any help...same with this mod

yea i know i didnt feel any performance but i know for a fact it made my exhaust sound alot deeper.. i could care less for the performance but it did make my truck sound alot better
