Default Lift and level

hey guys

i was wondering if i could put a leveling kit on my truck if i already have a 3" body lift?

i really dont know how leveling kits work like if there just spacers or what but if they are spacers i didnt know if it would work because the bodylift spacers are already there.

thanks for the help

i think you should be able to add the leveling kit. the body lift just lifted the body off the frame. i'm not too sure what a leveling kit for your year of truck consists of, it might just be a new set of keys to adjust your torsion bars, but not to sure. maybe google "leveling kit" and see what comes up.

the body mounts should be in different locations. maybe if you crank up your torsion bars a little , this might level the front.

your right,i didn't know that you had a 2 by.now i'm unsure. .just checked wifes expedition and it looks like you'll be ok. the body mounts are in front of the a-arms.hopefully someone who knows for sure will help out.

I don't see where you would have any problem. They are 2 different ways of lifting the truck. The spring spacers should mount without any problem.

on a 2wd you need the coil spacers as you have already discovered that you have no torsion bars to crank yourself.

and they will work because your body lift lifted the body from the frame, which does not change the suspension at all.
