Default New Truck

Just got a 1999 Ford F-150 extended cab recently and looking to alter the exhaust system and air intake system to it and looking for suggestions as to which is going to be the best. I'm looking for an exhaust system that is obviously going to make the truck louder but not do a lot of damage to the gas mileage. As far as the air intake system goes, the truck has a high performance one on it and doesn't seem to be doing any damage to the gas mileage but was trying to figure out what would be a good system if I do decide to replace it. any suggestions?

Cut the 2 back cats out(if no inspections in your area) and put a flowmaster 40 on there and run duels out the back or dump it at the back axle.

K&N make a good intake but there are other brands out there to....just shop it out.

^^^yeah i agree, and if you want it louder just go ahead cut off all the cats like i did. It sounds great. Well do that if you don't have any inspections to pass...like westtnfx4 said.
