ABS Light and Overhead Console not working
So my overhead console thermometer and compass doesn't work, hasnt since I bought the truck, now my ABS light is on, in the manual that is the same fuse, #23. Yet this fuse is fine, and I'm sure this is a common issue because I think I've heard of it before. Anyone know what's going on? Thanks

I may be in the same boat. I bought a 2002 F150 XLT 4X4 5.4 in August and the console didn't work. Upon occasion my ABS light will come on for 15-20 minutes, then go back out. Sounds like too much to be a coincidence. Anyone have the answer?

Overhead console repair;
There are a couple of threads about it here, but above is a video about how to fix. Pretty much every single complaint I've seen about the overheads is that the resistors breakdown over time.
Mine doesn't work. I've gotten as far as removing the unit and giving it to a friend that can solder. My hands shake wayyyyy too much to solder so he's going to do it for me, hopefully that will fix it.

Just fixed my overhead console as per the video. None of the resistors appeared to have a bad connection, but I soldered them all and it works now. I even tried to check them with my DVOM and they all appeared OK. Simple fix for sure.
