99 F150 4x4 4.6L -- ENGINE REPLACEMENT OPTIONS
Hi,
I'd like some feedback regarding replacing my 4.6L engine. I'm very interested in a performance engine but
all the performance engines seem to be 302's, 460's etc. that would require replacing additional componenets like the computer, differential etc. --- I've looked at Rhino and Jasper and although they seem cost effective (<$3K) they are only 260hp or so. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for the feedback.

Will work for parts
Is the bottom end toast??? If not why not do a little head work and throw a charger on it??? I am looking into the same thing with my 98 4.6 5 speed. I have found a guy who will make me intake spacers that will allow me to bolt on a lightning heat exchanger and blower. The spacers are only ganna cost me like 300 to my door. And then i can get the charger and heat exchanger for around 500, plus mass air sensor I already have and there you go minus getting it tuned. Around 350 horses for around a grand not too bad from where i am sitting.

All of the superchargers I've researched are in the $3500-$4500 range
