98 f150 4.6l cranks but wont start.
my truck will crank and turn over fine. i have no flashing theft lights on the dash and i have fuel pressure all the way to the engine. i have a new fuel pump and a new fuel filter (installed yesterday). i have checked for fire and it seems to be ok there. after changing the fuel filter the truck started 2 times consecutively then wouldnt start again. after changing the pump the same thing happened two times then none at all. i changed the relay and the fuses are fine, after changing the relay it started up a couple times consecutively and then not at all again. i believe that it has to do with something electrical or a valve somewhere that wont let it start. any help would be much appreciated im getting desperate and dont have the money to bring it in to a shop right now. have any ideas?

thats something i thought about as well, but if it's turning over normally wouldn't that mean that the starter is working properly? i had a starter go out in an old ranger before and when it went out it just clicked and would fire up after i tapped on the cilinoid a few times.
