Ok I started loosing power as i was driving the truck, first the radio would not turn on after going off on its own..... then the lights were going dim and no turn signals and finally the truck died in my friends driveway.....somehow they got the truck going enough for me to get two blocks down the road and it did the same thing and finally i had to tow it home,....i installed a rebuilt altenator hooked up jumper cables to my friends vehicle and left it charging for about half hour, i now have power in the cab, lights dash lights etc are working......but when we turn the ignition to start the truck there is nothing.....no clicks no cranking no nothing. truck will not start.....so i went and bought a batter charger and am now charging the battery from the truck, the voltage indicator was only showing battery of very little charge from the jump i got.....anything else you can recommend to me... there are no bus routes to my job and i need this truck going asap......any advice would be greatly appreciated....
could it be because the battery didnt have enough power to start it after a 30 min jump

How did y'all test the solenoid?
If it will run with the ignition switch on, and shunting the solenoid to starter connections, then something is either not sending voltage to the solenoid(ignition switch or fuse), solenoid is bad, or I don't know...
I don't know enough about the pcm in this truck to guess whether it the pats system (anti theft) kills the starter switch or the spark.
If you have a key fob remote, make sure you hit the unlock button.
Or if it has an aftermarket alarm, make sure and disarm it by either the remote for it or the override switch.
