97 f150 tires
I got a 1997 f150 4x4 off road. Am I able to put 285/75/r16 tires with the stock ride hight or should I do a 2.5 in suspension lift and then put on the tires I need advice

With my torsion bars cranked a little, I rubbed the valance. I only had to trim a tiny bit off, so I'd imagine without touching the tbs, you'd scrub some. You can easily crank or get your tbs cranked to 24.25'' from center of hub to bottom of your fender and clear those 33s just fine. 24.25'' is aka the max known safe height before you start killing front end parts. I'm running 285 70 17s btw.

I have a '97 F-150 4x4 too, I ran 285/75R16's with no issue. I didn't have to crank my T-bars or trim anything. When I went up to 35's I had to crank the T-bars and trim a little bit off the bumper. You can check out my build thread for pics.

They will fit. They might rub slightly at full lock.
