so i did the flush with the fluid mentioned, used 16qts and maybe its a coincidence but now there is a clunk noise when accelerating from a stop in gear or from a slow start! wife says she can feel it in the floorboard passenger, thoughts?

Now that baby's shifting right ! And now you need to replace a $20 tranny mount that is notorious for going bad.

i cant feel it shift when i put it in drive you cant tell till you gas it... in reverse it clanks little and you can feel it engage, how do i check the mounts? Also i cant find the axle breathers and is there a differential one also? does the front drive-line turn full time? i didnt notice the noise in 4x4 high

got a polaris 500 its great and ive owned every kind of quad, used to have a xc race ready kfx450 but had some health problems and had to pay surgery bills i may never pay off. this has a much faster top speed about 85 maybe a modified banshee could beat it.

Climb under there and push the transfer case up with your legs. If it moves, bad tranny mount. Differential breather comes out of the center of the distribution block that the metal brake lines run through on the top of the axle tube.
