Default 97 4.6 stalls when coming to a stop

My 97 has about 150k miles. Recently, a couple of times, when coming to a stop it quits. Both times I have been able to immediately restart it. Any idea what may be causing this and a potential fix? Dirty injectors?

By the way my AC compressor seized up so if it means anything I now have an idler pulley in it's place. Been that way for a year now.

Thanks

Is the check engine lite on? Have you pulled any codes. Firts thing comes to mind is the EGR valve not closing fast enough. Suggest removing vacuum line, plugging the line with a golf tee and drive it. Just see what happens. Another possibility is the IAC (idle air control). Both of these items should have thrown a code.

My idle air control valve went and it did not throw a code. Mine would stick open when the engine was hot and not allow it to idle.
